You know what would shut me up? Weapon and armor skins I can earn through completing challenges, like we do in CoD. As many of you know, one of the main things that keeps me playing CoD for several months after release is my driving need to gold every gun. It’s a simple mechanic that works really well. You’d think Bungie was new to this game if you didn’t know better. You know what I noticed about myself? (and I actually find that quite childish). I honestly don't really care for camos, at all, as long as there is no killcam. I want to show them off, I don't really care how my own gun looks.... But I agree, PvP challenges would be a great addition unlocking stuff (like emblems). It is why I almost only play trials though. It is the only PvP gametype in which winning does actually do something Why do you think they added the part where they show each character at the beginning of each Trials match? No one needs to see the loadout their team is using over and over. It's designed to make people want cosmetics.

I’m pissed at myself for spending $50 on this game. I knew better yet still let myself get talked into it. I wanted to play with friends, but this game is a fucking drag. And I’ve had Neir: Automata—considered one of the best games to come out this year—sitting on my self for over a month while I’ve played this. Blah. Fuck Bungie.

I mean, I am kinda disapointed too, because this is so far the only online RPG/FPS hybrid I like to play. And I really wanted it to be so much deeper. But it has been easily my moneys worth. Any game going over 60 hours is easily its money worth.

A lot of it has been mindless. yes, some grinding, but it's a lot better than before. No more praying for God weapons. No more glimmer grinding. No more endless hours waiting for events. Most all the issues are gone. But more of all, what has made it a solid purchase, is getting to play with some friends again in the Raid, try the Raid (I haven't finished it yet), plus do some PvP with some friends too. I have no clue how long the above will last, but it's been worth $60 regardless of how the future plays out.

Question: best pony shotgun?
- Good Bone Structure - First In, Last Out - Gravity Slingshot - Hawthorne's Fer F$$ks Sake
I have them all at 300; which should I use?

Gravity is fun for pushing people off cliffs and edges. First In and Good Bone are slugs...apparently if you liked the Chaperone in D1, you'll love them. Hawthorne's might be the best pony if you're looking for a "traditional" shotgun. But don't quote me on that, I don't really use shotguns...I'm more of a fusion rifle kind of guy.

Any game going over 60 hours is easily its money worth. But 60 hours doing what? You know atleast half of that is mindlessly grinding public events. Honestly? The story was great fun in the first run, with running some adventures in between to lvl up. After that I was doing publics for a few hours, having an absolute blast (figuring out the heroic triggers and just fooling around). After that, doing the exotic weapon stories on every planet was also quite amusing. That right there is at least 20 hours of gametime without ever getting the feeling I was grinding. Strikes, another few hours. Raid, at least 8 hours of great fun in the first run figuring it out. I think I played at least 60 hours without ever really grinding. Nobody forces you to grind publics in this game, I know I barely have in the first week. But I have said it before, and I will say it again. You bought the wrong game. Doing patrols with a group of friends is still one of the best things to do in this game for me. Just shooting stuff and talking bullshit.

Hawthorne is hands down the best PvP shotgun in the game. I am actually baffled how every class is quite well balanced, but the shotguns, it is not even close. Unless there is some hidden stuff in there (like increasing bullet spread with full auto) they completely shit the bed with shotgun balance. There seems to be absolutely no reason to use anything else. That actually goes for both PvP and PvE.
The raid exotic comes close, but it is not really a shotgun, more like a weird combo of shotgun and fusion.

Basically: do what you me and Hunted did last night... take names, kick asses, win games. One a complete side note, I'd also to note that in the last 3 sessions of IB, I have been teabagged exactly 0 times. And it hasn't been because I've been an angel... I'm been novabombing 4 people capping A on Emperor's respite and Benny Hill Chicken Dancing on their orbs... no teabag retribution at all. In fact, if I take a thought walk down memory lane, I think the only time I get teabagged is by bradman and he's on my team. Is anyone else finding this, that in D2... there's a lack of teabagging?

I got teabagged in IB in my first like 5 games. I've also had my body shot a few times. I tend to be annoying to play against though, so that might have something to do with it.

I’ve seen teabagging regularly in IB. Not every match, but often enough. I’ve personally been teabagged once in IB. Myself, I am not a teabagger (except in PvE).

Teambagging is an often overlooked strategy. A full team of four baggers usually enrage and demoralize the opposition quickly.

I feel like the salty guys who normally teabag were too stubborn to even look further than their first game of D2 PvP. Therefore they simply are not in the crucible. I don't mind honestly.
I have absolutely no proof for this, but I feel like T-baggers are the same people as the people who get their complete sense of self esteem from kills, their KD ratio and sniper montages. Since kills are far less important in D2 and getting 3 kills in a row is really rare this time around, and snipers ammo is harder to get by, they probably went back to playing minecraft.
I have been T-bagged, but it has been really rare, even in trials.
