Bungie claims that is leftover code and there are no plans for PoE to return. Take that statement for what it's worth....

Got the Confused emote (John Travolta in Pulp Fiction) in a bright engram and had enough dust to get the Bureaucratic Walk emote (Ministry of Silly Walks emote), I won Destiny 2.

This weeks trials was hardcore. I don't know why, but I think our best flawless card was 4 wins, and that was after a lot of tries. I think this map is actually really really good though to see how good a team is working together, we basically were not on that level. On the other hand, pulse nades were absolutely bonkers in a lot of these narrow hallways.
Also: Last hope. That thing needs to go imho. I don't understand how anybody can complain about mida and uriels, when last hope promotes luring and cheezy insta-melt playstyles. I think it is the most prevalent weapon in crucible right now.

I kind of gave up on the Iron Banner last week. Just didn't see the point of putting in any extra time on this.

It's what everyone wanted: a grind.
Win 4 games, redeem your 20 tokens, get a reward. Infuse/dismantle it or keep it.
Rinse and repeat for 7 days.

Speaking of which - www.polygon.com/2017/10/15/16478458/loot-box-microtransactions-legality-ukI do find it dubious that games with loot boxes can be certified below the age to gamble.

Who was getting 20 tokens in 4 games? More like 7-10 games. You, me, and Hunted rolled a lot of people, winning at least 3 out of 4 games getting 17 tokens (5 for a win 3X, 2 for a loss) We played about 10ish games together, meaning we got 34+ tokens. That's a rank and a half, almost 2. Anyways, I needed a win and a loss to get 3 ranks after you two left. Not what I wanted.RNG only rewards that are less than my LL cheapen IB, imho. That's because we're used to being showered by loot in y2 and y3 during the content drought. Remember Y1 IB when it there was no reason to do IB because the loot drops and armour just plain wasn't worth it?

But yeah, got to take those into account either way, even if you only have 1 character.

I have two characters. I worked them both over the course of the weeklong IB. Did enough between the two of them to get the completed goal done, 100%. I did all of that and got a emblem.
I did get some IB armor stuff. To be blunt, it doesn't look that much different. And the armor drops I got weren't that great, in terms of being above my present level of 301. Most drops seemed to be in the 292 to 293 range, with very little in terms of perks. So all in all, it was kind of lame. Especially so considering the above goal completed only got me a silly emblem.
So I guess a bit of wasted time. Or maybe not, as it was fun to play the crucible with some friends. The Heb's and I got in a few rounds together. Over the course of a couple of sessions, we probably won 90% to 95% of our games. If only this could be done in the trials now. So I enjoyed the playing of the games somewhat. I've always been more of a PVP player, than a PvE type of person. I have gotten a lot better with D2, in terms of the Crucible, working out the rust. Once I get a new controller that allows me to reliably sprint, I'm sure i'll do better. So for now, it's all good. I do wish they would actually make the crucible an actual real PvP experience, rather than the sh1t show it is now though. For what is supposed to be an A title, the PvP is kind of garbage in terms of quality. Destiny's PvP has like 1/10th the options than what a CoD game has. I might be generous in saying that too.

Took me 19 engrams to get the full armor set for my Titan.

If Bungie cared what I thought, this is what I would do:
Keep IB exactly how it was done (get tokens, turn in tokens, get engrams and prizes each time, rinse and repeat 10 times get a $hitty emblem) but 1)give the drop rate a slight bump, and 2) Equiping the emblem gives you a token boost of 20% (wins 6, losses 3)
After level 10, all available armour and weapons unlock for 50 tokens each, so people who want to grind get to pick their rewards. That's 9 wins per item (roughly)
Everyone's happy and gets what they want... grind, goals, carrot on a stick, stick up the ass

To me Marko, that's really all that most of the loot system needs. Give people a way to grind (even if it's somewhat lengthy) to be able to purchase something specific instead of playing a slot machine hoping they get that specific thing they want, then being pissed when they get 4 SMGs in a row. I mean, why the actual fuck do no vendors sell items in exchange for legendary shards? It's an absolutely baffling design choice, and one that they changed from D1 for basically no good reason that anybody can think of.

The token system could really be a great system, if you could buy guaranteed rewards. I would make the prices for guaranteed rewards more rediculous though. More like 100 for iron banner, and maybe even 500 for gunsmith weapons or something. Or the random drops should not cost any tokens at all, just xp like they did in D1. Then guaranteed drops could be really really expensive and still worth the grind, as you get them guaranteed.
