Who the hell doesn't use both? TP gets the majority off and Wetwipes get the rest. If you use only wet wipes you're going to 1. Destroy your septic and 2. Waste a shit ton (pun partially intended) of money and wipes The wipe needs to be first on the scene for comfort's sake. And really it may as well be last on the scene as well. If you can't get by with a single wipe, I think you're doing something wrong. I recommend after giving your hole a nice rub with the wipe, fold the fecal-encrusted side in half, leaving you with a clean surface half the size ready to go for another round. You can easily get 4 passes at your bum with that single wipe in this manner. That last wiping motion should be pretty much a null op, you wipe and there's little-to-nothing there. That's when you know you've won at the toilet, and thus at life. If that doesn't work, you may want to see your health care provider, as you may have a medical condition affecting your stinky sphincter.

I use Charmin Ultra Strong. It's the only TP on the market that doesn't leave crumbs behind.

I'd say the best TP out there is the Protoss Pylon. The ability to warp in units on the front line to protect your bigger units (which can't be teleported in) is key for maintaining constant aggression against any faction.

This week on Tmartn's quick tips, we'll be discussing toilet paper and toilet paper alternatives. Which is best? The answer will blow your mind.
...this thread has literally gone to shit.
EDIT: In all seriousness, the primary problem with flushable wipes is that they're not entirely flushable, the fact of which will eventually necessitate the services of a plumber.
Also, bidet or go home.

Today, MSFT is running "victory laps" with this announcement: news.xbox.com/2015/01/xbox-one-record-breaking-holiday-look-ahead-2015The victory is defined as No surprise there as MSFT's price-cutting and bundling campaign in Q4 2014 was brutally blatant. Furthermore, they are making the price cut permanent: Should be good news for everybody because Sony probably will follow with a permanent price cut soon.

If you've never tried a Wet Wipe post TP wipe...try it and you'll never not do it again. Ever washed your hands with dry paper towel? Doesn't do a real good job does it?

Gosh, I hope the Xbone update really fixes the interface on the console. And other things.
Also, Win 10 will be free to Win 7 users for 1 year.

The ability to record Xbox One gameplay directly from my computer looks like a coolio feature. If the quality is up to snuff, it could really hurt Elgato.

Hi all. Shaking off the COD (and Den) cobwebs. Bumping an old thread with a relevant question: what's the current state of AW on PS4 vs. XBone? Thinking of buying one finally. Tried going back to the PC when Ghosts came out but the player numbers fell off a cliff pretty quick. PC COD4 has more people playing than Ghosts right now I'd bet. So how are the player numbers right now on each console? Can you jump in, say, a random solo Domination game fairly easily still?

Only Sledgehammer knows online player counts for consoles as the player counts are not displayed in-game.
I'm on PS4 and every playlist is viable, but there are definitely less games versus Ghosts. PS4 definitely has more people than Xbone: the PS4 version sold about fifty percent more copies.

Zero wait time for absolutely any game mode on Xbox One, at even the shittiest hours.
No significant lag experienced in any of the lobbies (no different from any other COD, that is. There is still the usual player-host latency of a hundred ms or less)

There is still the usual player-host latency of a hundred ms or less) If you have a group/party of five or six...there is most definitely wait time going on. I've seen it during Clan Wars. On a number of occasions (like playing CtF), I watched the same other group of opponents pop into our lobby a half dozen times, wait time up to 4-5 minutes, before we got into a game. When you see the SAME group of other people, keep dropping in, that's one sign of low player population counts. So there is ABSOLUTELY wait times.

If you are alone or in a group of friends from the same city as you, there is still zero wait times, and you get the "perfect" lobbies I described (most likely the limited "dedicated" servers). But if you are in a party with people from another region (I have a group of friends I play with from the other side of the continent), then yes there is longer wait times and the lobbies have noticeably worse ping. I assume this is because we are not a good match for a dedicated server as we are from different regions, and the dedicated servers would be region-specific. So rather than connect us to a dedicated server somewhere in the middle, and thus hinder the experience for the solo players in that central region, it matches us up against another party that has the same issue. I am just guessing with all of this, but my guess would be that is what you are experiencing. It is not necessarily caused entirely by low player count, but rather by Activision causing further segregation through this partial dedicated server system. I would much rather see every lobby be on a dedicated server. Then when a new COD comes out, use the same servers, and plop the "old" game onto the player-host system. I've never experienced a 5 minute wait time though, if you factor out the time wasted getting past the hurdles of the Xbox One's shitty party system.

I've seen 4-5 min waits on low pop nodes.
But agree with your above thoughts. This was the theory Driftor put forth a while back. One that is further fragmented by an older SBMM system, that is now proving to be unwieldly with the current Dedi/NoDedi problem, as well as lower player counts.
Where I am going to disagree with you is on the lower player counts. The numbers are being hidden for a reason Will. Every CoD ever made has shown the population numbers in the lobbies, since way back when. CoDAW hides this now, and it's doing so for a reason. It's trying to hide the decline of the game. This move is just an extension of the new way they fabricate sales numbers now, as well as other public reports.
I feel numbers back up my above thoughts. CoD Ghosts last fall had historically low numbers online, on the XBox360. Last fall, in September, I was playing quite a bit due to Clan Wars and stuff. I routinely saw 20,000 to 30,000 online during the peak evening ET play times (that number is ALL lobbies) Off hours had even half that. Yes, you could still find a game reasonably fast playing solo, but the numbers were plummeting. That was a historically low number compared to prior games hitting 80,000, 120,000 even 200,000 back in the days of BO2 (during the late stages of the summer) 20k online is horrible, especially so for a console system that had close to an estimated 10 million buyers of the game.
Today? On the XB1? Sales are estimated to be around 5 million on the XB1, in total. That's HALF of the prior 360. And my own anecdotal evidence shows that the dropout rate for AW is even faster than for CoD Ghosts. I wouldn't be shocked, if we did have access to the player population numbers, we would see something like only 8,000 to 14,000 people online during peak hours (all lobbies, only XB1). And probably an abysmal 3,000 to 6,000 during off hours. That means, it's quite conceivable that some low pop nodes like CtF and Uplink, they might only have like 100 to 200 people in the lobbies, looking for games. How well you think the matchmaking is going to connect those people, in regards to lag?
Not very good.

I said this before, but I believe that the philosophy of having many different playlists damages matchmaking and should be avoided if possible.
How many playlists does Advanced Warfare have? Something like twenty?

A ridiculous amount, which is multiplied by 8 now, thanks to their stupid DLC system. This will be split into 16, and then 32, as the final two map packs roll out (and total player counts will be even lower by then)
- No DLC - Atlas Gorge only - Havoc only - Ascendance only - Atlas Gorge + Havoc - Atlas Gorge + Ascendance - Havoc + Ascendance - All 3
I am very pleased that Respawn has taken a big note of this and explicitly said that they will do something different in Titanfall 2 so that their matchmaking does not get segregated like this.
My solution for Call of Duty would be to give Atlas Gorge for free, and eliminate all playlists except these 4:
- Free for all (includes bonus modes like infection and gun game) - Team Deathmatch (includes Kill Confirmed) - Team Objective (Mosh Pit of Domination, Hardpoint, Momentum, Uplink, etc) - Search and Destroy (includes Search and Rescue)
And yes that includes eliminating things like Ranked Play, Hardcore, Barebones, Classic. I think this would do wonders for the quality of matchmaking. Either that, or just add a gosh darned server list and let us pick (consoles too!)
My other wild wacky idea is now that Microsoft is going full steam ahead with cross platform support between Xbox One and Windows 10 - Activision should delve into this with their next COD title by utilizing it to save the PC populations. Continue to have Xbox-only matches, but also give Xbox players the option to match up with PC players. Would you annihilate us? Absolutely, master race! But it would be a blast to play with my PC bro friends, even if I'm at that disadvantage.

Ughhhh....x 1000. The above might kill clan wars. Might. Then again, Clan Wars is on the brink of death right now as it is. Either way, I think AW/Activision would be scared to do the above. It would mean acknowledging there are fewer players playing. Don't like this. CoD already has enough sh1t-talking aholes. Don't need sh1ttalkers like this, especially when their performance gains are only due to the controller they are using. And adding another couple thousand PC CoD players to the Xbox system, isn't worth the hassle.
