...except neither of us ever said winning clan wars was easy. I do every clan war and I know firsthand it's not easy.
My point was that the current format of clan wars does not have clans actually play Call of Duty against each other and that some system, any system, that allowed as such would be an improvement over the current format.

Well, when you refer to things as just a 'pubstomping contest', you are pretty much saying it's easy. Like I said, it's far from that. In tough competitions, you typically play 1/4 (or more) of your games against other clans. Is that not playing other clans? Maybe not the clans in your bracket, but it is other clans. Over two rounds, it does even out. A squad might play 50 games over two rounds - 35 against randoms, and maybe 15 against other groups. Your record, agfainst those two groups, determines your score. The goal is to see which clan can win. Beating randoms in some games (which is all about speed of the win) and beating other clans you face (which is about speed and winning the game). All the clans in a bucket, have roughly the same road to travel. It's contest. Who can do that the best, while keeping their wits, moving their people around, and of course....using the best tactics. It works at the higher level. Ain't no one slipping through the cracks and getting undeserved rankings, you know? I've seen the process work up close...no mistakes are made on end results.
