Or "idle speed" would work and be gosh darn golly gee whiz near self explanatory. Only to those already used to our lingo. Think about it, idling implies not doing anything, how can it have any speed? The most accurate description would be: ADS Idle Sight Sway Speed. It's just hard to fit in the chart. Edit: Did just that.

This is a bit off-topic, but I'm curious... how did Den react to your "mock profile" of hiM? He didn't.

Sway Speed is the speed an idling gun's sights move at (when ADS). I guess i should elaborate it's desciption in the chart by adding the word Idle somewhere.
Den, can you enlighten us on the variables determining the sight offset when moving the gun?

At least it's tested out on consoleros, for the greater good of the glorious PC Gaming Master Race.

Yeah, just noticed too. :/
doo-doo sucks.

Sway speed is different for some guns, i simply had problems cramping it in. "Sight movement" also applies when shooting. You know, recoil.
I'll change it back to Sway and adjust the explanation.

Sway should be more obvious to those not used to the lingo.
Changed it, since there is an explanation now.

Why are the "Run" values higher than the "Sprint" values? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Or am I missing something? (noticed RPK sprint speed had 100%...) Is it how much it adds? The percentage values are always considering the pistol movement speed as 100%. Concerning the sprint speed: I have no Foxtrotting idea. Ask Den.

Anyone can explain why wa2000 + acog has completely NO RECOIL at all? Recoil and centerspeed is the same for both (on the pc).

I swear, it did feel like it had a higher centerspeed with the IR... then again, maybe I was just high that day. Totally placebo, like those supposed stutter-fixes. I have to admit, i felt that way too... Is there a flat rate at which dual mags reduces the reload time? It kind of seems all over the place for the ARs. Since no weapon accepts dual mags and dual wield at the same time, i added the dual mags reload time in the same color as dual wield.

More like the Dragunov CenterSpeed not changing. It's 500 with all attachments. And 1000 HipCenterSpeed. Well, fuck me. Thanks man.

I sure hope he will.
Imagine the gun displayed in the middle with greyed-out attachments and clicking them changes the values. It would be the ne plus ultra of this chart.

Also, it would be helpful if you could add in information regarding adsidleamount on scoped weapons. Like M16 + IR = idle amount of 40 and G11 + VS = idle amount of 60, etc. Will be done. Also rearranging some things.

[ Den this chart is very useful. would you consider replacing yours and giving a small credit to this chart... its still basicaly yours but his makes it easier to read. You know, all mine does (yet) is add infos about attachments and make it less readable. This, in my opinion isn't the best way to arrange all of the information. I don't have the means to arrange it the way I see as best, but I believe Den can do a better job than this person has done. Just tell me what bothers you, I'll gladly change it. That being said, this chart changed quite a bit since i started it, who is to say it won't anymore?

I'm currently working on a graphical representation of each gun's recoil for easy comparison. Although i've been aware of the fact, that i ignored center speed and symmetric/asymmetric recoil force, i had something like this in mind originally: Now, after i've read Den's understanding of the different value's functional interaction, things got a wee bit more complicated. I spent hours last night trying to compose a formula capable of calculating the effective recoil after n shots for given force, center speed and firerate, to no avail. It should look somewhat like this when It's done, but i'd hate to add values more or less made up: I know that i'm missing variables, I'd appreciate some advice, Den.

I knew the M16 was good with an ACOG! Thanks for confirming it, Scythemage! By the way I have trouble reading some of the color differences in that chart, since my color vision isn't 100%. Am I the only one? Sadly there are only so many colors i can pick which are easy to distinguish when cluttered with, even for those unimpaired.
