Looks pretty interesting, are you sure that the drop off points are right? I dunno how you could test it, but it looks a bit dodgy to me. ok u must go on the side of the other player, then walk straight forward, u see your player swing her weapon. i count every time he swing the weapon on the left and found out when CR, MR, LR and WR beginns or ends. it took many time to make it correctly. here i found out:
1 - 4 1/2 swing on the left CR 5 - 9 swing on the left MR 9 1/2 - 11 1/2 swing on the left LR 12+ swing on the left WR
I worked on it over 9hours UPDATE: made white dotspic was delete

Snake, are you sure on those numbers? 43 for High dmg ar's/smgs and 33 for low dmg ar's/smgs is really inconsistent with previous results

Snake, are you sure on those numbers? 43 for High dmg ar's/smgs and 33 for low dmg ar's/smgs is really inconsistent with previous results yes because of the fact that Painkiller give u a health boost on normal health of 330. and u need with a dmg of 33 only 10 shots and with 43 8 shot. but don´t know 43 or 42 it give the same result 17 shots with a low dmg AR on wide rangw on a guy with painkiller normal health. 17*20= 340 die 16*20=320 not die 6*55=330 die

Painkiller divides incoming damage by 3 (except it leaves knife damage unchanged). 2. The guys around here already have 100% accurate damage values taken directly from the MP logs. Every min and max damage ends in either a 0 or a 5.

I always thought painkiller just gave you 200 health, but dividing damage by 3 might make more sense, especially for 30 health mode.

20 / 3 = 6.666...
6 * 17 = 102
Aparently it does not round up, but truncates down to the nearest integer, thus 20 becomes 6 damage.
Mystery solved.

Actually, the mechanics of Painkiller make a *HUGE* difference, since he's testing damage values by using Painkiller. He was basing all damage figures on the assumption that Painkiller gives 330 life, when in reality Painkiller divides all damage by 3 and then truncates (while leaving you with 100 health). As a result of that incorrect assumption, all of the damage figures were wrong. Now that his assumption has been corrected, all of the damage figures are right.

I registered just to give you props.
Snakex keep up the good work.
This also explains why the FAL performs poorly on large levels. It no longer does 2 hit kills in a shorter distance than the rest of the A/R. Also, is it true the M93 does 40-30? I would think this makes the gun the obvious choice of backup weapons.

The MP log shows 40 and 30 as the two most common ranges of damage for the Raffica.
It is pretty much a mini M16.

^That is crazy.
The pistol drop off is very interesting as well as the M9 does 40 damage further than the USP. I would have guessed the complete opposite.
Has anyone done weapon swap speeds on the secondary weapons. Or even primaries for that matter?

And the deagle is shorter than the .44. It's weird how the ones that already the worse of the pairs are further shortchanged by range.

The FAL, I think sits in there quite nicely, not underpowered, nor overpowered. I'm a little surprised about the FAMAS vs M16. Didn't Den clarify that the both have the same RPM?

Very interesting to see the FAMAS with a longer range than the M16. It seems that all objective data points to it being the superior gun. Which wouldn't surprise me- IW has a history of weakening guns that were the most popular in previous installments, so it'd make sense for the M16 to be a weaker version of the FAMAS.
