I was wondering if anyone has used the shield challenges to test weapon damage. One of the challenges tracks damage deflected. Wondering if it is accurate, if it is this would be the quickest way to double check most things or check bullet penetration damage.

I don't know how quick it is since you have to exit your game to check it. If you have to start and quit a game for every shot I think that might be pretty slow for doing a lot of tests. I think Snakex has a methodology that works pretty well for mass testing. Though, it would be good for any single test one wanted to check on, as long as it's accurate.
I remember the suggestion coming up from way back before the MP logs were discovered, but I don't recall if anyone ever verified it's accuracy or usefulness.

where are u get info that about double damage with at4/rpg to harriers/pavelow ?
scripts:
so it's specific damage "max health minus 900 health". When harrier has 900 health or lesser he start smoking. So it's wrong about doubled damage
there is no specific damage for helis. Damage with at4/rpg same like for impact (1000 as I think). Not doubled
And it's wrong about impact damage for thumper and grenade launcher. It's 135, same for melee. And charges from both of them detonates after 360 units (inches) of distance. It's 9 meters
It's for PC surely

i can say u need 2 AT-4 to destroy an Harrier 1 AT-4 and 3 Thumper/Grenade Launcher to kill an Pavelow and 2 AT-4 to desroy an Attack Helicopter
so that say to me (without, the PC files and the stats from the site i post) Pavelow 3000health AT4 1000dmg*2= 2000dmg + 3*400dmg = destroy
that´s my math, sry when it´s incorrect also Danger Close don´t affect the shots to kill from AT4 to any of the helicopters

I mean the impact damage without explosion. It's 135. With explosion I don't know how much is that. May be 200, may be not. But not 400 - it's too much
2 AT-4 needs to harrier because first rocket take damage "3000 health minus 900" health. It's take 2100 damage and leave is 900 health. And second is destroy hem. Even if harrier have 901 health, first rocket take 1 damage and leave the 900 healths. And second destroy him. Same for RPG
For pavelow. Simply try to destroy him with 2 AT-4. With ur maths it would be 4000 damage. U can see that 2 AT-4 didn't destroy him

here are some stats that i get: Pavelow: 3 AT-4 = 1155 * 3 = 3465 3 RPG = 1160 * 3 = 3480 1 AT-4 + 7 GL = 1155 + 2030 = 3185 1 RPG + 7 GL = 1160 + 2030 = 3190 11 GL = 290 * 11 = 3190
Harrier: 2 RPG = 2100 + 900/1160 = 3000/3260 2 AT-4 = 2100 + 900/1155 = 3000/3255 1 AT-4 + 7 GL = 2100 + 1015 = 3115 1 RPG + 7 GL = 2100 + 1015 = 3115 21 GL = 145 * 21 = 3045

now I'm agreed with values. I got the same strange numbers (like 290 epl. damage with GL) when testing them with destructibles objects
You can add that Thumper and GL explodes after 360 distance units. It's equal 9 meters
