Why do the Hive and the Fallen fight each other when they both get powers from the Darkness? Good question. I guess Darkness just loves chaos

Yes but it appears to be quite a common theme where the bad guys aren't united allowing the good guys a chance to improve their chances of victory. And are the Hive after resources anyway?

Another montage of Hunter sexiness:
The Shotty + Throwing Knife combo is real. Will definitely try it some time.

Isn't exotic gear just "different" as in has a different thing going on. Similar to how Borderlands legendary weapons generally had a special ability. I think you can only have one exotic weapon in your loadout at one time too. Some guy made a video of all the "exotic"s found in the beta: Besides admiring the great "personality" each piece has, also check out how sophisticated the upgrade trees can be!

Great in-depth article about Destiny's "end game" from IGN first: www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/30/destiny-the-endgame-is-only-the-beginning-ign-firstNotes: 1) Story missions end at level 20. After that, first you will jump into strikes and Crucible, then Raids; 2) Level "26" is mentioned as an example, so it is safe to say that the level cap is at least 30; 3) "Raids are “extremely crafted,” six-player, friends-only gauntlet", no match making; 4) Raid will last at least "a couple of hours"; 5) "You are going to suffer" when playing Raids, "but it’s going to be a fun kind of suffering that makes for a better water-cooler moment with your friends later. " 6) What the Raid bosses are like: "they're still big monsters, much like what you're going to see, they're still scary, but they have a bunch of abilities that are unlike anything you've really experienced in a shooter before" 7) What the Raid experiences will be like: "building and learning and failing along the way to find cool mechanics and occasionally we'd succeed" 8) Other end game activities - Bounties 9) Nightfall activities: “Nightfall activities come in two flavors: daily and weekly. They have extremely exotic rewards.” My take: 8 & 9 are going to form the backbones of "something new to play every day".

Bounties remind me of BO1's Contracts, which were awesome. I hope they continue to expand on the bounty system.

Bounties remind me of BO1's Contracts, which were awesome. I hope they continue to expand on the bounty system. This! Especially when you get to pick and choose what weapons to apply the xp to regardless of what you used getting them done. I love being able to do that with turn ins. Takes some of the sting out of using a maxed out weapon, (stings because it being maxed out means I'm wasting valuable weapon xp I could be earning).
