I don't know about racing, but I always liked the driving in Halo... especially warthogs. Mongooses are fun, but feel like toys to me so I still kinda prefer warthogs. ;3

I liked the Elephant; that made CTF particularly fun on Halo 3 Sandtrap. Because Elephants were big and slow, flags spawned on the Elephants; if the match lasted long enough both elephants on the map would eventually converge on one another. From there it was a matter of who was left alive to carry 3 flags 20 meters to victory while everyone else had to walk 100 meters to get to the Elephant.
Otherwise it was a mongoose base-race. One guy drives, other guy sits in back, and lord help you if you get flipped-over in that mine field.

Sadly I expect Destiny may lack Halo's custom maps. Just seems like it might not fit the game the way it did with Halo, but maybe Bungie will do it anyway.

Forge and theater were such game changing features on console. Kinda odd to see the next game Bungie releases "regressing" to not having them.

People are thinking that the 10 days is the PS exclusive period of the beta, not the whole beta and the 4 days mentioned before was for the Alpha. I suspect the beta will be worldwide, not region specific like the article implies. Japan would likely be a day ahead when the beta is released here.

This is very disappointing, Destiny beta is only 9 days for PSN and 5 days for XBL:  1) This is too short by any standards, especially a pre-order commitment is required. 2) PSN not only start early, but has twice amount of the time than XBL? This will seriously piss off some Bungie fans who are still on XBL. |

Money is not the main issue, time is. If I get both, I would be pressured to buy exclusives from both platforms to justify the purchase, however I already have too many games that I want to play than I have time for... |

As part of the collector's edition announcement, we have a first look into what DLCs might look like for this game:
Looks like these 2 DLCs have a value of $34.99, more than the common norm of $15 per DLC.

Yeah that's true. Titanfall doesn't seem to appealing tbh though. I've seen a lot of videos and nothing was too interesting about it.
They seemed to call it "Expansions" so I'm thinking they're treating it more like SC2's expansions rather than CoD's DLCs. Expanding the game as a whole (more story, more gear, more maps, more options, maybe a few gameplay changes) rather than just adding some relatively minor stuff, like maps.

Another thing with digital stuff is having the means to downloading it. Had to get rid of my fibre optic connection because the ISP was being amateur so I am using my phone line and downloads max out at 260kB/s, ffs. So I hear PS4's timed downloads and play as you download a game (not sure how that works) would look better for those who don't have bandwidth pipes. |

Disk space can be a concern too, I guess.
With only $5 savings, maybe I'll still go with Disk then buy the expansion pack separately.
