Isn't the M27 basically just a better ICR as well? And nobody considered that to be that great of a gun in that game. Though resupplying equipment for free was maybe OP... I say maybe because you get a lot of free resupplies with scavenger too and it doesn't cost you the secondary weapon slot. But it requires you to run to a corpse every time you want to resupply. It was too good though. Getting claymore kills which give you more claymores was ridiculous.

Yeah I once camped a spot with a claymore guarding my back and this one guy got killed by it. I then killed him like 4 more times just by putting it in new places while he kept ragespawning at me. It was kinda hilarious.
I suppose that's a bit much for a shooter, but then... really, if you keep getting killed by my claymores that's you're problem. I know some people rage about claymores and prox mines, but it's not that hard to be a little more aware and if they're really a problem there are perks to counter them.

I loved my claymores. But I did die from them enough that I got paranoid in real life. Every doorway, corner, etc.

As long as it did not trigger a PTSD anxiety/panic attack. Then it was real funny.

I usually saw it from the other perspective of, "ooh this would be a great spot for a claymore!" ;3 But then I'm always doing that. After Titanfall came out I kept seeing great wallruns.

Oh yeah, of course. Just don't ever make the mistake of mentioning it to The Wife. "That corner right there would be an awesome spot for a claymore, place it on an angle..." Yeah, her reaction was almost as bad as a real claymore.
The other day I tried to tell The Wife my truck was a better head glitch than her car. Her reaction: My daughter was like: "yeah, but they can still blow up the truck" I was like:

MR6: Fire time increased by 20%

hmmm 480 500 RPM, just as I thought... Ya i was working off of RoF, I still haven't figured out how fire time and RoF correlate.

hmmm 480 RPM, just as I thought... Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the new RPM should be 500 rather than 480. 20% increase to .1 fire time = 1.2 * .1 = .12 .12 fire time = 500 RPM

I noticed another change. The MX Garand now uses the AR Suppressor.

Damn Marvel, boasting them eagle eyes as per usual.
Meanwhile, 500 RPM isn't too bad. Still exploitable. :3

At least a RF mod doesn't make it better than the KN now. Well, by as much.

Does the HG40's first and second range values of 350 and 500 mean it's the first and only weapon in the game to have damage falloff over range?

No, shotguns and the Marshal 16 have that, too.

Either I'm blind as a bat, or the RSA is worse than (or equal to) the Locus on literally every single aspect. Given the sniper_quickscope raw name, I can only guess there's something else at play: aim assist, faster ADS cone tightening, or something of the like.

Either I'm blind as a bat, or the RSA is worse than (or equal to) the Locus on literally every single aspect. That's typically the case with Supply Drop weapons. Deliberately underpowered, really only used for novelty. I'm okay with that, but I'd prefer they just make them available to everybody (like a DLC weapon) and properly balance them with the rest of the class. But they can't do that, because how else is Bobby Kotick going to buy his 13th vacation mansion this summer?

As per past experience, one would expect some gimmicky upside to it, at the cost of generally worse performance.

True. I guess the HG40 fits that, has unique properties but overall performance is a clear cut below any other SMG. Unfortunately the MX Garand is the same situation as the Shieva - I don't think it does even one single thing better than the Shieva.

All sniper rifles have an aimAssistRange of 0. The aimAssistRangeAds is 5000 for the Drakon and P-06, 0 for the Locus and SVG-100, and 3000 for the RSA Interdiction. ADS Delay was patched in Black Ops II.

It has no other advantages whatsoever over either the Locus or the SVG, its only niche is that it's the only bolt-action with aim assist.

The patch notes said the ICR-1 was also buffed. Do we have any numbers for it?

Well it has a slightly better rate of fire, and arguably better iron sights. buuuut that hardly makes up for its downside's, still a great looking weapon though, and fun to use.

Does the aim assist on the new RSA Interdiction sniper apply to all scopes or strictly default scope only?

Does the aim assist on the new RSA Interdiction sniper apply to all scopes or strictly default scope only? All but Thermal based on my testing.

The aimAssistRangeAdsScale is 0.01 for Thermal and 0.3 for Varix 3 and ELO.
