Why? If they released MW remastered this must mean there is no longer any issue with the IP. They remastered an existing game. They cannot produce new games within the Modern Warfare franchise. This isn't conjecture. |

I'm not sure why when it was said (rumored?) that CoD would be returning to its roots, the first thought was "Modern Warfare." Its roots are in WW2.

That's the Activision way. Buy a season pass on the Xbox One, then have to wait until mid summer to get half of the DLC. I fell for it with BO3 last year, ....this year, didn't buy the pass. Didn't get the pass, I lost interest, and I haven't played the game in two months. Short term greed and profit margins triumph over rebuilding the player base. Congrats Activision, well played. |
