Anyone seen any numbers on how much these speed bringing your gun up?
I suspect in general I'll still use Fast Hands just because of Gung Ho competing against the broken tier Awareness, but I'm curious if Gung Ho is competitive in some manner, or if they stack in any way.
Is Gung Ho simply letting your 'normal' sprintout time activate while sprinting, ie, Fast Hands would stack directly with it, and it'd only be a marginal improvement over stopping a sprint by firing in the first place? Or is it giving you a speed advantage to begin hipfiring while sprinting, over/on top of Fast Hands?

Someone said it on another thread but I can't remember who, anyways:
Fast Hands = sprintout reduced to 0 Gung Ho = fire while sprinting (you don't sprintout at all)
So numerically, you shoot in the same amount of time after pulling the trigger (0ms) with either perk. However, due to not losing your speed or needing to reactivate sprint, Gung Ho outclasses Fast Hands, and there would be no reason to have them both equipped (unless you value the faster swap time that much)
Subjectively, I would never use Gung Ho over the other perks in Tier 3. Fast Hands is good enough.

It still applies the sprintout time, it just makes it so that when you hipfire you don't slow down to normal movement speed. To answer the OP, Gung Ho is only useful for three things: - staying more mobile when using Ghosts so that hipfiring doesn't make you show up on the UAV - being more mobile with hipfire - staying more mobile when throwing nades

I'd briefly consider Gung Ho but then suddenly Awareness+Dead Silence -- Fast Hands is the way to go, thusly.

I'm starting to think tracker is a better choice for perk 2. Fast hands only works after spinting. I just completed the 100 kill fast hands challenge a couple nights ago. I have always used fast hands 100% of the time and I'm at 4000 career kills. That doesn't sound worth it. Also, fast hands doesn't speed up the throwing of equipment anymore.
On a side note, this has made me cut most nade/flash usage and made c4 useless in tdm. The nade cook time even feels slow to me?
Does cold blooded keep your name from popping up in the crosshairs? It doesn't mention that anymore like prev cods.

Your bullets definitely start coming out sooner with Gung-Ho than with Fast Hands, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can achieve ADS accuracy faster with Fast Hands than with Gung-Ho.

Haven't tested just fast hands in the final game, but in the beta fast hands was dexterity + faster weapon swap while Gung ho was just "keep movement at sprint speed while hipfiring or throwing nades".

Fast Hands is good enough. I watched someone test Fast Hands and it seems to exactly half sprint out time. Gung Ho is a weird one; I tested classes with different combos of both perks a couple of weeks ago. If I run it without Fast Hands and hipfire out of sprint there is no change. If I ADS and fire out of sprint there seems to be no sprint out delay whatsoever, and I don't notice any "time to ADS accuracy" penalty either. Using Fast Hands simply gave me 100ms sprint out time with the VMP either from the hip or ADS, and as you can imagine it stacked well with quickdraw. Running Gung Ho I had to consciously remind myself to ADS and fire at the same time. Using both Fast Hands and Gung Ho seemed to give me 0 sprint out time if running into ADS, but 100ms from the hip still... and simply a different ADS in animation. I wonder which of the two is best for running x SMG + quickdraw. If I needed a class with two other tier 2 perks such as Hard Wired and Scavenger I guess Gung Ho would cover well, but I don't see myself giving up tier 3 slots to that over Dead Silence or Engineer.

Or Awareness, orlsx317o; the soundwhoring is so redonkulous in this game it's nigh-cheating.

It's been inconsistent for me so far though; too many instances of being "snuck" up on by someone running at full sprint >_< I used it as it was the best early unlock for tier 3 but now I'm sitting at level 53, I've found DS + Engineer to be the best combo for me. Strange how I never needed Dead Silence in BO2 but I missed it until I unlocked it in BO3!

As far as I know Fast Hands don't make you aim faster, it only decreases your sprintout time, right? Seeing and doing tests I noticed that it actually halfs the time for it to about 100ms or something like that. On the other hand, Gung Ho seems to also don't cancel sprintout time at all (even though you keep running), as unlikely AW's you don't run with your weapon already up to shoot. So it looks like that Gung Ho only allows you to shoot while sprinting, but it doesn't cancel your animation of bringing up the gun, which could be considered the sprintout time animation. Does it all make sense? Has anyone tested it more deeply?
If it's how I said, technically it's worthless to use both only to shoot faster, and they would have the same effect, only being distinguished by their other effects (swap weapons faster / throw grenades while running).

Gung Ho is for staying on the move while you hipfire and throw equipment.
Fast Hands is for switching weapons faster and reacting with hipfire faster.
No real overlap there. In fact, if you are using a hipfire weapon both can be useful. One of my silenced shotgun classes uses both Gung ho and Fast hands, one uses just Gung ho, and the third one uses just fast hands. No Gung ho means that when you start hipfiring you slow down your movement and no fast hands means you have more delay between ceasing sprint and firing.

I like this Xclusive Ace guy, he has very informative videos.
If fast hands does not let you ads faster, then gung ho is just flat out better in that regard. I think I'll try dropping awareness for this perk and using another perk 2.

... Son of a bitch. Looks like Fast Hands wasn't the end-of-all as I thought.

But fast hands lets me pull out my Blackcell faster, which is honestly over 50% of my experience points right now.

You must not get into many gun fights then lol. Obviously fast hands has other benefits as well, but I consider realistic ttk more important than destroying a scorestreak 300 ms faster. You'll still destroy streaks even without fast hands.
I'd probably only consider fast hands for sniper classes with handgun secondaries. But with snipers not benefiting from aim assist, I'm staying the hell away from them.

Of course fast hands isn't going to let you ADS faster. The only time a "faster sprintout time" perk ever did that was steady aim pro in BO1.

Is that so? Welp, you're up next Quickdraw, so yay for Perk 2 diversity. Quickdraw isn't going to help you either if you're looking for something to aim faster after sprinting. The ADS animation time is dragged out to equal sprint out time if the ADS time is quicker than sprint out. The only value you will get out of Quickdraw but no Fast Hands is aiming faster while walking, and the only true way to obtain "aim faster after sprinting" is if you run Quickdraw AND Fast Hands simultaneously.

I can cope, what with being an aerial fighter by courtesy of Bumper Jumper -- I know Quickdraw kicks right in whilst airborne. Is that so? Welp, you're up next Quickdraw, so yay for Perk 2 diversity. I've been skeptical of C4 since they lost airburst, but will it look to be a kind investment if they're still stronger than grenades?

I've been messing around with gung ho and I'm not so sure it even affects sprint out time? It might reduce it a little, but it's definitely present. You can easily see it when you tap-fire full-auto weapons in full sprint.
Seems pointless if that's the case.

It has a sensor on it that tells you when someone is near it. C4 is amazing. It was my first unlock. Air burst would make it too OP. You can still throw them in windows and around corners and stuff...just a little delay... I use c4 when knifing and in search too... it lets me know an enemy is coming/ at bomb site if not using hardwired......

I agree that this guys has cool videos, however he got this one wrong. quickdraw + fast hands = faster sprint to ads. sprint to ads takes the slower of the 2 so not having both means you're not getting as big of an advantage

RageHulkSmash I think he means that you have to cancel your sprint via ADS for your shots to be instant. Haven't run Gung-Ho in ages so I have no clue if he's right or not.
