We've all seen the chart, but it doesn't reflect ingame performance. I guess you could argue the AA12s range is so bad, Silencing it doesnt hurt it as much as say, a Spas. That link isn't to a chart, but rather to a duplicate of this thread; the topic has been discussed at length before you signed up here. I wasn't, nor was anyone else suggesting a silenced AA-12, only correcting your misconception that it is incapable of firing further than a knife can lunge.

The best perk set in the game (sleight of hand/stopping power/ninja) allows picking up any guns and performing well with them. I will always pick up enemy weapons if using these perks.

That is for commando, and it is slightly less than 5 "m", which is an in-game meter, but that really doesn't amount to much. It looks like 1.5-2m without commando, chart is still pinned if you want to check it out. It should help you visualize the range of the AA-12 as well.

Silencers seem to gimp shotguns almost as bad as LMGs, but I'm wondering which is best? Assume its in Core. I'd have to say it's definetly got to be a semi-auto, because it makes Spas to unreliable, and AA12 has less range than knife. From personal expirience I'd say Striker, because it holds plenty of ammo, fires as fast as you need it it, and essentially never OHKs anyways. I've had major success running around with a Silenced UMP for Midrange combat, and a Silenced Striker for extreme CQB type fighting. Truly, they all suck with silencers, but as you stated, the striker probably suffers the least. The AA-12 has a much longer range than the knife, don't know why you would say that. Additionally, I would say the Spas is the most reliable shotgun if you can aim and are attempting OHKs. I think the machine pistols fit the silenced secondary niche better, especially for a bling class.

It all depends on what you use for units, which isn't going to translate across games. In MW2, it is a little less than "5m" based on snakex's pinned chart.

I used to run a blinged ACOG/FMJ or ACOG/HBS intervention/barrett. The ads time was barely slower, so it worked great. Then I tried it and I sucked at using a regular scope. SO I stopped using that. Why the claymores if you are running around though? Sleight of Hand is the butter on the bread that is this class, it really wouldn't work well to run around without halving your ADS. The claymores are for offensive utility, usually to catch the suckers that can't help but to rush/chase. I find that overall claymores are more useful AND fun for all of my classes, but at first they were just fun. You could also argue for stuns over flashes for this class, but I find the underwhelming effect of the stuns to negate any advantage brought about by a quicker throw animation. TEHO, YMMV, DYODD, and all that. P.S. That FAL class reinvigorated my desire to play.

Have you tried the FAL? The class kind of makes itself FAL + Silencer + Holo Bling SP Ninja or Commando or whatever. This. Akimbo silenced m93/g18 and Ninja, too fun. For a new challenge for the asdf class, try this: Intervention/Barret (less challenging) w/ACOG sight Akimbo Glocks Claymores Flashes Sleight of Hand Stopping Power Ninja That is the best/most fun run around quick-scoping class I can think of, unless you get headshots everytime, in which case you would be better suited with a CB M21 class.

This always happens to me. Sometimes I'll be playing and I'll kill people, and then they decide that it looks like fun so then they spend the rest of the match killing me, too. Also, one time I was playing Domination and I captured a flag and then all of a sudden everyone in the game was copying me and trying to capture it back. qft, lol.

I'll be taking Friend Requests for this all week and will invite you guys to play any time you are on MW2, even if it isn't this Saturday at 8 ET. I can't wait for war this weekend, I'll host it for at least 5-6 hours since I'm PST.

I wasn't there, so I can't really speak to what was going on last night in particular, but personally, I would hate to see the Denizen Games turn into cold clinical affairs where no one said anything unless it was related to the objective or the match. I really like when we get a little bit of off-topic chatter going. To me, the matches aren't about creating some sort of hyper-competitive clan so much as they are about having fun with a group of like-minded gamers. Talking about the objectives is obviously part of that, but keeping things from getting too serious is part of that, too. Yeah, we are on the same page. I love off-topic chatter, especially when we're winning, no reason to try even harder. I don't care if we win or by how much, as long as we are trying to win. This definitely isn't a group of dudes that is going to be cut throat, we are laid back and all there to have fun. I'm just trying to make sure that's what happens.

Thanks a ton for organizing our games last night Sugar. I had nightmares of UAVs with 9 red dots all night last night though, lol. If possible we should get more (or less ) people to come out so we can splinter into 6-mans because ground war is nonsensical, albeit fun. Also, I wasn't talking much because I was sick, but I was at least giving pertinent information when I did kick back the phlegm. I had to mute people in our own party who saw every death as an opportunity to soapbox about the way they died. That's cool if your playing by yourself or with a friend, but when we are playing team oriented games, please mute your mic so voice chat is free for people to say things that actually are relevant to the game. We all love to talk TTK and OP weapons, but it's also painful to hear "OMG ACR is so OP" and "Put down your M16 Bad kid!". Maybe I'm being sensitive because I've been sick as walking death this weak, but I have a feeling I wasn't the only one that was bothered by the incessant whining that lead to selective muting. All that aside, I had a blast and can't wait for next week. I would volunteer now on the spot, except the issue of when to hold the next war is fluid, and I can't host every night. I'll keep in touch with you scb, and thanks again for orchestrating this carnage.

Thanks a ton for this list Sugar, it helps everyone. You can just put NoVABaller for my GT so I have all the Denizens on one list, and to keep it looking up to snuff. Later brah.
